MELTING SEASON

For those who still remember, these photos are from our previous blog which is 3 meals a day in Ipoh and 1 Malaysia.
As you guys can see those are main courses and most of them are kind of heavy, do you wish to have something to satisfy your stomach after meal?? How about something light and sweet?

UMMMMM……..guys, how about we play a riddle? Guess what is the dessert that we are going to show you. 
The clue of this dessert is that it’s quite common in Malaysia and many other countries in South East Asia, it is a kind of dessert that is served hot, white in colour, and the last clue is, it is made from bean.

Have you guys get the answer? Here comes our first dessert!








Tau fu fa!!!!(Bean Curd)


Compared to those sell in other places, the tau fu fa at <Funny Mountain> is very smooth, once you try the tau fu fa, it’ll just liquefy and the taste will tingle every single taste bud in your mouth. The taste is just so delicious and it’s just stays in your mouth even after hours eating it. THUMPS UP!!!!!! =D

Whenever you see Tau Fu Fa, soya beans will always be there as well.

The shop is crowded as always!

WOW! Never think of such a traditional shop also comes with drive-thru services, it is also a cool thing that we can enjoy our tau fu fa inside the car.

Service: 

The workers are busy all the time around to serve the customers.

Unbelievable!!This shop has just reach 56 years old!!It is founded by Tan Family back in the 1950’s.

Ice Kacang (Known as ABC)

 Eating a bowl of ice kacang under the hot weather in Malaysia makes the taste of ice kacang unbelievable and in the process of swallowing it, you will feel the cooling sensation. You’ll also notice that there are peanuts, red bean, cendol, corn, grass jelly, sago, red syrup and sarsi syrup. The combination of these is truly amazing. ‘Slurps’

Other than ice kacang, the shop also sells cendol which comes with either corn or pulut or red bean. The ingredients of this cendol is coconut milk, cendol, red bean, ice, brown sugar which is also known as gula Melaka and either corn, pulut or red bean. The rich taste of the coconut milk added with the sweetness of the brown sugar makes it a perfect dessert during the afternoon.

This Coffee Swirl Cheese Cake has three delicious layers, starting with a layer of cheese, followed by a creamy aroma coffee, and then the base of the cake is covered by chocolate biscuits. It is a good high tea in the afternoon with a cup of tea or coffee that makes it a lovely brunch dish, or is often served as a casual weekday dessert.
