HI Peeps!!!

We are going to introduce some mouth-watering halal food in Perak that suitable for different races.
Our first station is Ipoh :)
So,

Let's start our food journey!

BREAKFAST

SUN YUN LOONG COFFEE SHOP

Wake up in the early morning with a guluguluuu hungry tummy, we can't wait to taste a cup of famous Ipoh white coffee and kaya butter toast!
This is going to be a very good start for my day.

Our first recommendation will be Ipoh's White  Coffee which is located at Ipoh old town''Sun Yun Loong Coffee Shop''.
This ''kopitiam'' has been operating for more than 60 years which currently is the second generation.
Once we step into the shop, we can feel the warmness from the people.

As everyone knows, Ipoh's White Coffee is an ideal drink after every meal especially breakfast.
When the coffee is being served, the rich smell of the coffee just surrounded us.
The very first sip of the coffee, the coffee taste delicate and the back of our tongue, we can feel the slight bitterness.
This is what we call the truly Ipoh WHITE COFFEE!!!
The price is also reasonable with a cold ones selling RM1.60 each and hot ones with RM1.40 each.

Hot Ipoh White Coffee

Cold Ipoh White Coffee

Kaya butter toast is also one of the must for breakfast in Ipoh.
This is the perfect match with the Ipoh white coffee.
The outer layer of the toast is crunchy and we can feel the butter is melting in our mouth!
Besides that, we can taste the creamy kaya entering our mouth.
It selling only at the price of RM0.60 each which enable them to sell more than 30 loaves of breads per day due to the low price and great taste.

Different flavors of muffins are also available such as blueberry, chocolate and also pineapple.
It looks interesting of its special outlook plus they use alphabets to differentiate the types of muffin.
Taste is also another specialty to attracts people.
The muffins are sold RM1.20 each.
Besides that, other desserts such as egg tart and sesame red bean ball are also available with the price of RM1.20 each for tarts and RM0.50 each for sesame red bean ball.

This is the place which family will prefer to have their breakfast at, especially during weekends which people will normally spend their family day together.
As for weekdays, there will be more senior citizens going there to have their breakfast because it’s already become one of their lifestyle.
When we have our breakfast there, we interviewed a few of the customers who went there frequently to have their breakfast.
Most of them gave positive comments about this ‘kopitiam’.
They have got used to have a cup of hot Ipoh White Coffee and also the Kaya Butter Toast which they think it’s the perfect match for their breakfast.

The address is JALAN BANDAR BIJIH TIMAH, IPOH, PERAK.
It is opposite to Kedai Makanan Nam Heong.
Speaking of notable landmark will be the tall flat across the road which is pretty easy to be identified and the business hour is from 7A.M to 6P.M and they will be closed on every Sunday.

LUNCH

Restaurant Mee Hailam Ang Ang

Why is this restaurant called Ang Ang??
Because ''Ang'' is the surname of the owner.
This restaurant has been open for 35 years.
The variety of noodles which makes it so special because there are 6 types of noodles available, and all of them are handmade.

One of the cuisine is the Mee Hailam Ayam costing RM5.50 each and unlike normal mee hailam, it is served dry.
The mee is very soft and smooth and is easily to swallow if compared to other noodles that served dry.

Meanwhile, there is also Mee Hailam Udang which is served wet.
The price is RM6.00 each.
The price is slightly higher because they are using big and fresh prawn.

Mee Hailam Sayuran is selling at the price of RM5.50.
It is served wet and the specialty of this noodle is the mushroom that is very soft and easy to swallow.

Most of the working adults will spend their time here because the price is reasonable and the portion is big.
It allows people to fulfill their hungry tummy and the environment is good and fully air-condition.
It’s a nice place to have lunch and avoiding the heat of the evening sun.

DINNER

FU TIAN REATAURANT

Finally for dinner, the choice will definitely be the Fu Tian Restaurant.
It is no ordinary restaurant because of their unique selling point which is available of the vegetarian sushi.
This restaurant has been operating since four years ago.
This vegetarian sushi is not just healthy and yummy but it also has a special outlook to attract young generations and also for those who has a healthy lifestyle.

Among this sushi, we would like to recommend Golden Dragon Roll.
The price is RM7.00 but the ingredient had the taste had made it worth more than that.
This sushi consist of carrot, kampyo, flake and also with mangoes toppings.

Another sushi that we would like to recommend is called Fancy Roll, which is sold at the price of RM7.00 as well.
The ingredients are kampyo, carrot, cucumber opped and cheese and also the sauce made according to a secret recipe.

Hainan Chicken Rice are also sold here at the price of RM5.50 per plate.
The chicken meat is made of flour and tofu.
Although all this are vegetarian food, but they have the same taste and texture as the real meat.
The juicy 'meat' of chicken plus the rice fragrance that are able to cause mouth watering will surely lure your heart.

It is also sold at the price of RM5.50 per plate.
It is made of fresh seaweeds from the sea with sesame toppings.
