Our first station is Ipoh :)
So,

Let's start our food journey!
BREAKFAST
SUN YUN LOONG COFFEE SHOP
Wake up in the early morning with a guluguluuu hungry tummy, we can't wait to taste a cup of famous Ipoh white coffee and kaya butter toast!
This is going to be a very good start for my day.
Our first recommendation will be Ipoh's White Coffee which is located at Ipoh old town''Sun Yun Loong Coffee Shop''.
This ''kopitiam'' has been operating for more than 60 years which currently is the second generation.
Once we step into the shop, we can feel the warmness from the people.
As everyone knows, Ipoh's White Coffee is an ideal drink after every meal especially breakfast.
When the coffee is being served, the rich smell of the coffee just surrounded us.
The very first sip of the coffee, the coffee taste delicate and the back of our tongue, we can feel the slight bitterness.
This is what we call the truly Ipoh WHITE COFFEE!!!

Hot Ipoh White Coffee
Cold Ipoh White Coffee
Kaya butter toast is also one of the must for breakfast in Ipoh.
This is the perfect match with the Ipoh white coffee.
The outer layer of the toast is crunchy and we can feel the butter is melting in our mouth!
Besides that, we can taste the creamy kaya entering our mouth.
It selling only at the price of RM0.60 each which enable them to sell more than 30 loaves of breads per day due to the low price and great taste.
Different flavors of muffins are also available such as blueberry, chocolate and also pineapple.
It looks interesting of its special outlook plus they use alphabets to differentiate the types of muffin.
Taste is also another specialty to attracts people.
The muffins are sold RM1.20 each.
Besides that, other desserts such as egg tart and sesame red bean ball are also available with the price of RM1.20 each for tarts and RM0.50 each for sesame red bean ball.
This is the place which family will prefer to have their breakfast at, especially during weekends which people will normally spend their family day together.
As for weekdays, there will be more senior citizens going there to have their breakfast because it’s already become one of their lifestyle.

Most of them gave positive comments about this ‘kopitiam’.
They have got used to have a cup of hot Ipoh White Coffee and also the Kaya Butter Toast which they think it’s the perfect match for their breakfast.

DINNER
FU TIAN REATAURANT
Finally for dinner, the choice will definitely be the Fu Tian Restaurant.
It is no ordinary restaurant because of their unique selling point which is available of the vegetarian sushi.
This restaurant has been operating since four years ago.
This vegetarian sushi is not just healthy and yummy but it also has a special outlook to attract young generations and also for those who has a healthy lifestyle.

Ipoh is a place that well-known with all delicious foods, first time I read this blog I feel so glad that this group of people introduce a lot of delicious food for us. We are in a multiracial country, from kopitiam, ethnic restaurant, and vegetarian restaurant with creative idea to come out with vegetarian sushi I know that many people love traditional cuisine but also wish to try the new things. Personally, I prefer the foods from kopitiam, ethnic restaurant which are based on the culinary skill of the chef than the foods from any other name brand chain restaurant such as Oldtown, Face to Face which I cannot taste the difference everyday. This blog have recommended so many good food for me, and I wish that can introduce more nice and affordable food for me, since our typical Malaysian love 'lim teh' or 'yam cha', ethnic restaurant such as 'makmak' is so famous in our country, if there have any nice 'makmak' restaurant, I hope you can recommend for us, thank you^^
these food really make me feel wanna eat them all..haha..i live in ipoh..but i also duno got vegetarian sushi leh..the sushi pic really look so tasty..the photographer so pro la..=D

nice recommendation:) i have to try these foods next time in Ipoh. I was impressed by the vegetarian sushi, looks so delicious, make me hungry. Beside that, I love the Ipoh's white coffee too,Traditional coffee always tastes better than packaged coffee.Great post ^^ keep going and keep updating!!
This is a very good blog and it provides us with the famous/nice food in Ipoh in details. Descriptions are enough and it is so nice that the blogger did provide the map too. So that, foreigner can find those restaurants even easier. If I have a chance to drop by Ipoh, I will definitely go to the restaurants recommended in this blog and I am sure that with these detailed descriptions, this will be a smooth and satisfying food trip for me in Ipoh.
Besides that, it is very considerate to recommend HALAL / vegetarian food to us. So that, Malays / Vegetarians can also refer to this blog to search for the good restaurants in Ipoh as from what I know, Ipoh is more famous in its chinese food, which is non-HALAL. This can serve as a good pathway to tell the world how fantastic and how various Malaysia foods are.
However, three posts are too little for me, who is a girl keen on good food. I wish blogger can also include some of the pastries shop / nice snacks in Ipoh to us.
Viewing this blog, with nice background and music, it indeed triggers my interest to continue reading the blog. I will bookmark this blog so that can keep my eyes and stomach sensually satisfied.

The design of the blog is just suit the content of your blog...Hmm...Ipoh has a lot of tasty food and I found that most of the people that sell traditional food is senior citizen. I think that the recipe of making those traditional food should pass down to their next generation before it lost forever because this is part of our culture...Btw, these foods remind my childhood memory...Thx for sharing, is a nice and informative blog... =D

Bravo Gulu Gulu!
We love FOOD!
It's a salivating role to constantly keep us abreast of the yummy-licious food which can be found in Ipoh, Perak. A distance "Foodie" gem in Malaysia for us to explore. With your wonderful foodie blog, I am certain that you will bridge us to savor delicious delicacies from Singapore. Given a chance, we will visit you and munch and munch all day long.
The photos in Gulu Gulu were well-taken i.e. especially my favorite Ipoh's white coffee. We were also attracted to the "pixie star dusts" sprinkled over the page. It's a thoughtful job to insert maps for your viewers.
Two other things that you might want to further enhance is (1) to have a beautiful serenade in the background. (2) Label your posts e.g. kaya toast, muffins, tarts etc.
Happy foodie!
Irene & Samuel Kew
i would like try the hainan style noodle! it looks great! however, the price is absolutely not cheap at all. i thought the food price is cheaper than jb and kl==

such a lovely blog as it amaze me with those delicious food!
first of all i would like to point out some insignificant flaws in this blog, like the arrangement of the pictures & texts, and the way you section your information.. they are not exactly causing problems but more thoughts on these would definitely make your blog look professional and more inviting to follow.
but the information on your post is definitely impeccable, and I love the genuineness in it.
and maps! that really help people who are as directionally challenged as me.
while i am also economically challenged, I am very glad that i can actually spend within RM20 a day on my meals following your guides!(whats more, great meals!)
thanks for being considerate!
i think the thing is we dont need anymore fashion bloggers sharing their wardrobes but more people doing meaningful and informative posts like you guys do :9 bookmark'd!

oh gosh..those muffin and egg tart..can i have it??!!
Good website and nice recommend!!
especially the coffee and toast..
very nice and thanks for your recommend =)
Blog Should have bookmarks at the side so that people who browse the site can go directly to the part they wish to see.. instead of pressing the down button or the scolling.. overall design looks good, with nice pics and good description....
wat a nice blog with full of design!anyhow i like the food that u share! locally and extremely delicious! nice produce and thanks for sharing=]
the introduction is good enough and precise. not too lengthy. It also comes with pictures, which makes reader relate to the wording, however, it will be better if can add on the rating, eg. "Kaya Toast, the Kaya is fresh and smooth, rate: 8/10, recommended by XXX" something like this, as obviously def will have someone who tried the food in the blog right?:) and also, in this case, you don't have to mention so much about the food (reduce the words) --> picture speaks thousand words.... Besides, you can also provide feedback about the food, not necessary need to be positive comments all the time.
Lastly, i think the background is a bit complicated. if this website introduces food or all the nice cuisine, complicated background might distract reader's attention.
overall, it's good!:)
7/10!
Looks delicious!
especially the noodles!
I would like to try them when I have chance to go to Ipoh...
Fighting!! :)
the coffee shop's really nice...i like it and the blog that created very nice^^good job
since ur purpose is to publicize ipoh's food, i think photos are important. u did have some photos for food, but, if u can snap some expression which people is eating, that might be more attractive? or posting video, which records customers' comments?
also, you may snap some photos which show hw crowded is the shop...
other than that, shall u add more dishes here? ipoh is also famed of the 芽菜鸡饭,鸡丝何粉,糖水,etc...
btw, the map shown is definitely a credit...overall, good effort is put =)
the food look like so delicious~especially the sushi~
i will go n try it~
btw,ur blog design is amazing~i ilke this=)
Damm cute music la...haha..kinda like it..amazing blog and great pic to advertise it..go bigger..XD
Description are fantasy ! it is easy to let readers to get more information about fruit via pictures. As a citizen who comes to Ipoh,i must say that the atmosphere is not that bad compared to the other state food courts in malaysia and it is also less crowded.Prices are rather cheaper than normal food courts though.Overall, the service is not bad too. The perak's foods is all you need if you visit Ipoh or just to escape the humidity of the day.Hmmmm, Perak food is amazing and people who never taste it must visit Perak and see how its tastes, you will never regret it!
